I've found that the camera view is almost always the wrong way around. Am I doing something wrong or is there an issue in the source code?

Perhaps you could show me where and how the orientation is figured out in the source code so I can take a look at it?

I have implemented your library as a plugin in my PhoneGap application, and I execute the code like this:

Cordova.exec(success, fail, "StartQrCodeScanner", "startQrCodeScanner", ["input string"]);

So from my method, I use 'Deployment.Current.Dispatcher.BeginInvoke' to start the barcode scanner on a thread on the Windows Phone UI.

All is well and all is good. The camera starts up and it successfully scans QR codes... then this is where I'm a bit stuck.

In my method I return the result from the QR code scan back to my javascript, where it's supposed to call the 'success' callback method that I specified within the Cordova.exec() method mentioned above, but it doesn't get executed, which I assume is because I'm still on the UI thread.

I know I can use Application.Current.RootVisual as PhoneApplicationFrame).GoBack() to get back to the PhoneGap UI, but from here it reloads the page that invoked the QR code scanner instead of continuing on from where it left off at the Cordova.exec method in the Javascript.

Any suggestions as to what I could do to return to the PhoneGap UI and execute the callback method?

Yeah, this software can generate EAN-13 in that way, but why not the EAN-13 barcode image cannot be decoded by my barcode decoder? Anyone knows?

I think you lost me. You want to generate barcode image for your product, isn't it? Then why you need a barcode reader?

Hi, I've been trying to implement this code, but when I call the code it is not waiting for the scan to be completed. It starts the camera, then immediately exits. What is the solution?

If I use this lib with Samsung Omnia 7 or LG optimus 7 I can read QR codes in less than 2 sec, but if I use Nokia Lumia 800 it usually takes more than 10 sec. Does anybody have an idea why?

I have been trying quite hard to have a look at this code ported over to Windows 8, making quite significant changes, but at the end the detection of points within the image just doesn't go through..

Any plans on this?

Is there a way to expose qr code region decode by library ? I found ResultsPoint but I can't understand how to use them. ResultsPoint are four but I don't known where they are (top left, bottom right, ....) on the screen.

The sample works fine for me where it loads the sample images from a URL, and returns the result. But I am trying to bring up the PhotoChooser and select a photo of a QR Code, but it always fails. This seems like a bug.

Thanks for replies, but I figure this out on my own, first, I generate EAN 13 and saved as image such as GIF, and when I insert the generated EAN 13 into each page of PDF respectively.

I've never known any barcode generator could be installed in PDF. So far as I know, you have to customize an application with the feature of PDF and barcode generator. If I'm wrong, could someone inform? I'm not sure of this. I'm say this from my experience.
